Arthur Kill Lift Bridge

Something that hasn't been seen in over 20 years.

Perhaps some of you might be in the area and would like to take photos.

The Arthur Kill Lift Bridge crosses Arthur Kill just north of the Goethals Bridge.

Saturday, August 12, the bridge will be in the DOWN (closed) position from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

I pass by this bridge all the time, and I noticed they had painted it a nice blue. It's in that section a lot of us Elizabethans call, "Ghost Town". And if anyone IS interested I can certainly take some snapshots.
