Hi guys,

I came across your website while I was doing some research and i must say that it is very interesting and your city is a stunner.

I thought I should post the following images of stadiums that will be used for 2010 in South Africa. I will only post the ones that are gonna receive major renovations and the new ones.

Welcome aboard!

Hope you keep u up-date with photos showing construction / renovation of these great looking stadiums.

They put most local NY / NJ stadiums (old, new and yet to be built) to shame ...

The Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg is to undergo a major upgrade for the 2010 tournament,
with a new design inspired by traditional African pottery and a revamped capacity for 104 000 football fans.
The stadium will hold the final and opening matches, five first-round matches, one second-round match and
one quarter-final.

That's a TRUE African Calabash but the design ended-up looking like the following
