as a relatively long-posting member I am constantly amazed by the sheer expertise...so here's a relly tough one.

Last time I was in NYC, I went to see a comedy night. It was in a vry simple building, not a rpoper club/theater, in the West 340s (IIRC). It consisted of fiarly improvisational, off-kilter stuff.. Very, vey good. AND I CANNOT REMEMBER THE NAME (BTW, I spotted it in Time Out New York edition).

The name of the troupe/evening was a play on words - soemthign catholic sounding.

HLEP, YOU ALL KNOWING ONES.

There's a bottle of nice wine in it for the first poster who nails this (proof of age required :D ).

Not quite yet, Zippy. They're not exactly obscure, and the name sounds more Protestant than Catholic to me.

Also, I'll pass on the hipster crown. I will take the wine, however, if my answer is correct.
