I love New York, I visit the city a few times a year, just for pleasure, to enjoy the terrific buzz there is about the place.
I also love the yellow cabs, you can hail one so easily day or night, and they're cheap, unlike London black cabs that are expensive and like gold-dust day or night.
But oh why are they so cramped? - they're big long cars with such a small interior - and why are they always so scruffy?
I'm surprised that New York doesn't have its own London-like cabs, they can turn on a sixpence, getting in is so easy and they can carry 5 in reasonable comfort.
Just a visitor's observation.
