Just got back from the local Whole Foods with some tasty groceries. Haven't ever been to a Fairway, but so far all my WF shopping experiences have been excellent. Costly, but worth it.

Truth is, they're all great. Isn't it wonderful how much easier it has become to get good and diverse food?
Once there was Key Foods and Daitch Shopwell.

No pun intended....which of course means pun intended...but we're talking apples and oranges here...
And sometimes I'm in the mood for an apple, and tomorrow I may want an orange. And my wife likes apples in the morning, but my friend doesn't care for them, but my daughter loves oranges....
You may as well ask which political ad you hate more....

Where's the selection for "neither" on this poll?

I don't think I have even been in either of these places.
I am a Shop Rite/Korean Grocery person. I do not believe, for the most part, that a lot of this is much better than the generics, and I also am not too keen on the premiums you pay for them.
I am not calling them bad, just not my kind of place.

I know where you're coming from, Ninja. Back at home, my family and I do the bulk of our shopping at the local Shoprite, and occasionally at A&P. For produce, we usually go to the local farmer's market/specialty store (which is a steal on certain items compared to the big grocery stores). But for things like specialty cheese, prepared foods, and organic foods, I have not found a better place than Whole Foods (yet). If you're ever in the Columbus Circle area, take a quick stroll into the Whole Foods at Time Warner. You might change your mind. ;)
