Christmas Info For Ny

I was wondering how long the city usually keeps everything decorated for christmas? We were thinking about coming the day after Christmas or wait until the middle of Jan (it is less expensive) but I want to be able to see all the christmas decor. Thanks for any info you can give me

Usually most of ithe decorations come down by January 6 or 7. By mid-January there will be hardly any decorations to see.
