Hi,

I got family coming into town and wants to go out Christmas Eve for dinner. The problem ... my wife is a super picky eater ... (doesnt try anything).

Originally I wanted to go to Gramercy Tavern but they dont take parties over 6 people and we have 7.

I put reservations in at

Keen's Steakhouse
Cookshop
Tribecca Grill

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant that will be warm and feel seasonal (please not the four seasons).

Thanks

Michael

Would Bouley be too French for your wife? The foyer full of apples always smells like the holidays to me.

lofter, I can't tell you if Donnie will take you up on your suggestion, but you've put Savoy on my agenda for next New York visit, for sure.

Thanks; looks warm and homey --just the way I like it.

You'll like it -- the upstairs room is good. Downstairs there are a few tables and a bar. Fireplace, too ;)
