Workshop
Alternative Healing for Our Pets
An Alternative to Allopathic Veterinary Medicine
Marion Blique, MA/Clinical Psychology, RPP (registered Polarity Practitioner*)
Workshop Leader
Time: 1 - 4 pm Location: 242 E. 53 Street
(next door to the Quest Book Shoppe)
New York, NY
A new consciousness has been slowly but surely emerging in response to the degradation of our environment and its consequences on the life of animals and their habitats. We will explore the shift of consciousness brought by the experience of the Findhorn and Perelandra gardens, the discovery of flower essences and gather a new understanding of where we stand now as humans in relation to Nature.
*Polarity Therapy is an energy healing approach to restoring energetic balance to the mind and body. Like other practices that heal with energy, it is based on the principle that a life force surrounds and permeates the physical body of every living plant and animal. Illness is a sign of inbalance in this flow of energy. Polarity Therapy restores harmony through gentle hands-on bodywork, diet and nutrition, positive thinking, and exercise.
Workshop Description:
In this three-hour workshop we will discover new ways to look at our relationship with animals and Nature in general.
We will learn:
• New techniques to communicate with our animals to directly assess their physical and emotional problems.
• How to use Flower Essences and see their real power to address these issues.
• How to choose and administer these remedies to different kinds of birds and animals and in different situations.
Please bring a picture of one of your pets (with no other pets or humans in the picture please) and write his or her name on the back. You will take it back with you at the end of the Workshop.
Marion lives with her husband and her many pets southwest of Albany where they run a center offering small personal retreats, yoga, bodywork and classes in Nature and Co-creative Science. She utilizes co-creative and bio dynamic processes with her pets, land and garden.
Workshop Cost: Free for Members
Non-members - $10
Space is limited.
