Short Term Furnished Apartment Manhattan

I am wanting to rent a furnished apartment for 1 month this Sept. Oct. 2007. I prefer mid-town to Upper and need to sleep 4. It is for myself and husband mostly, but want to be able to have guests while there. Where is the best places to look for the bargains.:confused:

There are many sublet listings on craigslist, although you're probably not going to find too many people listing an apartment for September 07 until July-ish.

Make sure that the owner is willing to leave some kind of letter with the doorman indicating that you are to have a month's access -- many buildings do not allow "hotel" sublets, and you don't want any surprises once you're there.
