Anyone see this?

The host looks a tad strange. Like she thinks she's in the Matrix or something.

I didn't even know this channel existed.

Yep, it's pretty cool. She needs to go to some really neat spots. How about the closed observation decks of the Chanin, Chrysler, and Cities Service buildings, for starters?

I was reading a book that had a parallel storyline about homeless "communities" in long-forgotten subway tunnels. It was based (loosely) on fact, and they used this book for information:

http://www.amazon.com/Mole-People-Life-Tunnels-Beneath/dp/155652241X/sr=8-1/qid=1168884431/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-5991353-8772005?ie=UTF8&s=books

"Mole people" are the thousands of homeless people who live in the subway, railroad, and sewage tunnels of New York City. Drawing on her interviews with these tunnel dwellers, who speak candidly and demonstrate their humanness, journalist Toth pulls the reader into this nether world, revealing lives of addiction and abuse. She also portrays people who try to help, including a woman who teaches the children and a kind man known as the mayor who does all he can to help others survive. In providing a historical backround, Toth informs the reader that living underground was not always considered "inhuman." Highly recommended for public and academic libraries.

I tried to find that book at Borders, the computer said it was in stock but it was nowhere to be found.

Maybe the DVD is a better bet from Amazon. Thanks.

There was once a 20 feet alligator living in the sewers, probably some kid flushed it down the toilet when it was small.......

Yeah, like he doesn't want people to know that he climbed the Empire State Building back in the 1930's.

Now I understand why londonlawyer likes HK so much.

Is it her costume or her that you like? If you met her and she spat on you/rejected you as some non media star underling, would you still like her?

While I think she's hot, I can't imagine that she regards herself as a media star. She's nuts if she does.

I'd eat her egg roll.
