Help? -- Where to Go?

Hi All,

Great board!

I will be in NY from Aat 27/1 to Tues 30/1, I am married, mid thirties,live in UK, but having to come NY on my own ( wanted the wife there, but.....:( )

Will be staying in Midtown, 2 blocks from Times Sq.

Can anyone suggest a good place(s) to go out for a few drinks on either the Sat or Sun night, looking for a place to possibly meet a few people, chat drink some more, party, get a bit drunk possibly :) etc.

Any suggestions welcomely recieved!

you shouldn't have too much trouble. pick up a zagat nightlife guide at the airport.
