Whats the budget, amount of people and dates you were thinking of??

Central park is always a good bet what ever the size of the party.

I think most restraunts are fine with having kids. Almost every restaunt I went to had kids in it.

I can highly recommend the River Café.

Central Park wedding info (http://www.centralparknyc.org/activities/weddings) ...

But be aware that a new city law has been proposed which would require an additional Special Permit for any gathering of more than 30 people ... this proposal has come under attack (http://www.nysun.com/article/44118) from various sides due to the broadness with which that law could be interpreted.

Imagine the reaction of the bridesmaids if the NYPD tried to arrest a wedding party of 30+

Preist: "....let them speak now or forever hold their peace"

NYPD: " NYPD, everybody freeze!!....Sir put the ring down and step away from the bride"

Lol that would be funny...

Perhaps you could get away with 60, 30 as a social gathering for the bride and 30 for the groom...thier meeting being coincidential??
