Hi.
I'm back from my visit to the NYC. It was GREAT! Loved it. Cant wait to get back. We were just walking around and enjoying the streets of the city. Starting in the lower Manhattan areas, and slowly walking uptown. One district at the time. Amazing contrasts all over the city. I brought home more than 2000 images, cant upload them all :P but here is a few of them.
Used a Samsung NV10, 10mp, 4x zoom, 35-105mm, 15-2000/1s.
All images are untouched (except one).

Where do I go to get pictures like this of the World Trade Center site? When I was there, the only place I could see it at was IN PATH station.

The first photo looks like the view from the pedestrian walkway from Vesey St. over West St. At first the view was blocked, then it wasn't...not sure now.

The second is at 7 State Street, down at the bottom tip of Manhattan.

Yep, that is correct.
Funny how churches like that stands out in a jungle of skyscrapers. Are they protected to be preserved in anyway?

The Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is landmarked according to their site:
"The Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish
is a Catholic community in a landmark building
connected to colonial times through the sanctity of
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
who lived here.”
But I was thinking about all the other churches scattered around the island, squeezed in between the skyscrapers. Are they all landmarked/someway protected? Or is it just the landowner who wont sell the lot?
