2007's Most Highly Recommended Areas in NYC

"New" areas in New York City experiencing a quality-of-life boom

1. Morningside Heights/ Upper West Side, Manhattan
- Many residential developments in progress

2. Yorkville/ East Harlem, Manhattan
- The next "Jersey City" for young professionals and artists

3. Sunnyside, Queens
- With the one stop subway access to Penn Station coming soon, this area will soon be crowded

4. St. George, Staten Island
- The hidden gem of NYC. Affordable rent, ethnic diversity, and easy commute via ferry makes St. George a desirable locale

Okay, Tribeca: Increasingly sought-after despite being the most expensive area of the city, with an overcrowded elementary school.

Must have something to do with the pies at Bubby's

How exactly is a part of Manhattan "the next Jersey City"?

Artists would never move to a neighborhood full of tiny studio apartments, though that's far from the primary reason it won't be the next "Jersey City." Is Yorkville really a secret to anyone?

"Jersey City"- Boost in residential/commercial growth
None of these areas are really secrets, just good ideas for places to live
