The reason I don’t trash talk Costas Kondylis even though he has produced some very regrettable designs is because he designed some excellent projects as well. I believe that if he has the resources of a good client and a decent budget that he has proved to be a capable and talented architect. Browsing his website I came across a project called Bank of China. It looks like Costas was inspired by Hugh Ferriss in designing this one and that if built this could be one in a handful of overlooked little gems by Kondylis.
