We are trying to gather support for dog owners in the midtown/hells kitchen/garment center area of the city to sign a petition for a Bryant Park dog run.
Please sign if interested

Sorry --
Not every park in NYC needs to have a dog run. Bryant Park and visitors there should be spared.
I'm neither against dogs nor dog owners, but just think that you should first look to other possibilities before going for the Bryant Park site.

No. I love dogs, but you've got that in other places. Bryant Park doesn't need to be scarred by a dog run. Where would you even propose it should go? Certainly not carved from a piece of the lawn, I hope.

I'm a dog owner and agree with lofter and midtownguy, Bryant Park is so cramped as it is that a dog run would not be a good idea.

No here too.
BP is more of a showpiece, not a municipal lot.
Asking for a dog run on one of the piers would probably be much beter seeing how so many people go there to walk/run their dogs anyway (West side).

The problem with dog runs is they also attract dog people.:p
And yes, I'm a dog lover who had one in NYC for years...
Dog run in Bryant Park is an awful idea.

As bad as an idea can get.
Amazing.
