Great Pictures!

How do you make them feel so "dreamy"?
What effects did you use?
The lightning is perfect.

I thank you! I could walk the night with you. I used to do it with one hardcore photoguy in Boston. We'd start with a group around noon. Meet at the steaming kettle near Government Center. In the afternoon a few people would peel off. Had other commitments. Around 9 P.M. it was three or four of us. At midnight his wife was calling for the fifth time! It's a wonderful feeling. Thanks for doing it and sharing! -Ken

A prominent landmark and meeting place --like the Grand Central clock. Does the steaming kettle still exist?

Did you use a tripod, a small aperture and a longish exposure?

My favorite, too. I could look at it again and again- it's nicer than most 'bridge postcards' I've seen.

Edward, what techniques did you use to get the twilight colors to reflect on the snow, shrubbery and water?

(Could you readily reproduce this gorgeous effect, or is it one of those special occasions that just sort of happens?)

(Could you readily reproduce this gorgeous effect, or is it one of those special occasions that just sort of happens?) Sort of being at the right moment of twilight.
