Which city is generally the safest amongst the cities of Jersey's Gold Coast?

The main cities of this coast are Jersey City, Hoboken, Bayonne and Weehawken, I assume.

-Of these which ones are generally known to be the safest?

-And which ones have more of the modern buildings/apartments/condo's, etc?

-Which ones have the most greenery around them?

-Which ones have the quickest route into the Manhatten?

Are there other cities on the Gold Coast which are a better place to consider when looking at these factors?

Hoboken is generally smaller, with higher incomes. That said there are a couple housing projects on the West Side of town near the Cliffs.

West New York along the Hudson is very affluent, love PF Changs. Near Bergenline avenue it gets a little more diverse.

Weehawken is very mixed.

Bayonne is very small town with a very suburban feel and style of homes and construction with one main shopping corridor. It also has a Cape Liberty Cruise Port with four cruise ships docking there at different times.

Jersey City is a lot like Brooklyn but just geographically and and population wise smaller. Jersey City is going through a construction boom that is very exciting and JC has very nice architecture and rich history. Jersey City has a lot of greenery with Lincoln Park being the largest park in the county and Liberty State Park being the a beautiful state park with ferries to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

When people refer to the crime in Jersey City- are they mainly referring to the area of Greenville or is it spread out?

How safe would you say the downtown/waterfront area of Jersey City is?
