Hi,
Im from the uk and am 19, I'll be visiting New York for 2 weeks with my boyfriend who is the same age, we've been deciding on a couple restaurants we'd love to visit but are a bit concerned about age policies!
For example one restaurant Room 4 Dessert is a bar as well, does this mean we wouldn't be allowed in after a certain time? We aren't planning to drink because we don't want the embarassment of being ID'd and we don't want to offend anyone but don't want to be limited for our choices of restaurants!
Also, is there a way to find which clubs accept 18+ before we go? I've heard some will let you in as long as they give you a stamp or a band that stops you ordering alcohol but my guidebook doesn't say which! Thank you :D
