For those who are still in school and probably live with a roomate or two, where can we find affordable apartments? Within the range of $1000-$1200 is impossible in Manhattan. However, there is always the outer boroughs to save the day. Of course we need to be near transportation, shopping, and some night life. I've compiled a list of neighborhoods offering rents within the $1000-$1200 range.
