dangerous areas?

Hey Guys i am from austria and i will visit new york very soon i dont really know wich areas of new york are so dangerous that i shouldnt go their .
So can u maybe tell me where i can go without gettin beat up?:D
Especially i wanna know where i can go at night maybe in a club or some like that .

1. Do a search of the forum, we have talked about it in several threads.

2. 95% of Manhattan is safe, day or night. It would be VERY difficult to end up "in a bad neighborhood" by accident unless you were late-night subway surfing and got off at a random stop.

So look around the forum a bit and enjoy NYC when you get here!
