If you mean WAVERLY Place in Greenwich Village, then it's a terrific area (http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waverly_Place) ...

How much is it costing you to rent for a month?

Not renting by month - only in the city for a few days vacation - is a vacation rental
Sorry

This is a superb location in the heart of Greenwich Village. Steps from Washington Square, NYU, great jazz, theater, bars, restaurants and nightspots. You are close to the 1 , A, B, C, D, F and V trains. Hudson River Park is nearby for a run or a long walk along the Hudson Waterfront. The Meatpacking District is nearby. SOHO is to the south. Chelsea to the north.
You picked a very nice locale in NYC.
