I am really interested in going to University to become an architect and/or an engineer. Have any of you gone to one and can give a good review or do you just know of a really good university for this?
Or if you know of some of the places where the designers, architects and engineers of this category's towers went, that would also be some good information.
Let me know either way, I haven't decided what University I want to attend so this will really help. Thanks

Your not really going to find a school that specialises in skyscrapers as you need to learn the basics and work your way up. I not to sure about which schools many architects studied at however i do know Lord Foster went to Yale.

Although I am a bit biased, if you can get in, Yale or Columbia are great choices. They have been for a number of years. There are many working architects on staff in the architecture schools of these respective Universities. I can assure you by third year you can get into serious study of skyscrapers through a combination of class work and internship. Those lists that often publish about the "Best Architecture Schools" can be very deceptive, but there are many books that list and give a rationale about why a school is good, better, etc. You will need to know who is on staff and how strong their ties are to the corporate sponsorship, to get a good start.
