So when I come up to New York next week I am planning on driving up 95N and then getting on the Jersey Turnpike (I think). I want to park somewhere in New Jersey and take the train in, but I'm not sure where to park or where to get off the turnpike or where to catch the train....I guess that's all the same question. Oh yeah, and can you park overnight?
Thanks,
NYUgirl

One option: park at the ferry in Weehawken for $7-$9 per day. It is safe to park overnight. Take the ferry over:

There are free waterway buses

or cabs available.

do I just pay for the time that I've been there when I leave? Where does the ferry drop me off? How do I get there from the Jersey Turnpike?

The ferry takes you to midtown (W. 39th St.) or downtown (Pier 11 Wall Street and World Financial Center). That's in the link I provided above, as are directions from the turnpike.Could I take the PATH train? What station would I want to get on at in new jersey??Yes you can take PATH.
