Brianac, did you look around inside Hoboken? Quite a nice little city.

I,m afraid I did not see too much of Hoboken.
I chose to visit on my last day in NYC and I had to get back to the Upper West Side to get my shuttle to JFK.
I went over by NY Waterways ferry and landed near the Harbour Bar, part of a nice modern complex with restaurants, hotels, bars, and the marina. Then I walked a little way to the west and crossed the light railway, turned south and walked as far as Sinatra Drive North where I was able to get the ferry back to Manhattan. So all I saw was modern development and none of the older parts.
Maybe next time?

^ Yeah, the more urban part of Hoboken is at the other (southern) end, where PATH brings you.
