Moving Back to New York

I'm originally from New York (Queens)... born and raised... we now live in Arizona (10 years)... my husband hates it here and wants to move back to New York... All of our family is back East... We have a kid and my husband feels he's missing out because he's not growing up around family...

Anyway, I'm the one who is hesitant about going back... although lately I have been really contemplating the idea...

My question... would it be a good move? To basically go backwards... I've always heard if you can survive in New York, you can survive anywhere.. LOL...

Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Consider thinking about it differently:

Technically, you'd be "moving back" to New York -- but you're moving forward in time and your life is getting even better. Therefore, moving to New York is moving forwards.:)
