Does anyone know of any good astrologers in NYC that are affordable (<$100 an hour?) and reputable?
Thanks.

You could probably find better and cheaper forms of entertainment. The terms "reputable" and "astrologer" are oxymorons.

Astrology is just a study in consumer confidence.
They will take a bunch of thnigs that are not easily proven, and wrap them in enigmatic terms so that the "consumer" hears what they want to.
In addition, the "consumer" uses this to try to form what they will do, and in many cases cause the very thnigs that were "predicted".
Kind of like the classic "jinx". One kid says "jinx" to another, it makes them self concious and more likely to screw up.
Even if they don't, any further mess up that day would be wrongly attributed to the "jinx". It is just teh way our minds work.
As for predictions. Take even the mighty Nostradamus. Most of his stuff is enigmatic and vague to say the least, but you realize that most of his predictions never happened? No. Noone talks about that.
If you predict that the coin will land "heads", 50% or the time you will be right.
Take this as a lesson in life. The positions of the stars, by sheer physics, have less of an influence on you than your couch, loveseat, or neighbor on the subway. All of which exert more pull, and probably mor radiation than the other... ;)

^ agreed...except it IS true that Geminis are 2-faced and Capricorns should avoid them.

When I was at the Post, Shelley Ackerman used to do our "real estate horoscopes."
I have no idea what she charges for private consults, but her web site is at www.karmicrelief.com
