I use to use a website to check the previous sales prices of co-ops in NYC. I can not remember the website, can anyone help me out? It was free for CoOps and you needed a membership for Condos.

Thanks

I will take a look at that site but the one i am looking for allowed you to type in a building address and would show the previous sales in the building.

Condo data is kept in City tax records, and picked up and regurgitated (or resold) by a number of sites.

The easiest one, I think, is propertyshark.com

Co-op data is harder, because the prices weren't recorded in the City records until very recently.

Brokers kept records, but their veracity was only as good as the inputter, and sometimes people's fingers slipped and entered sales at higher prices than actually took place . . .

but if you can't find a decent approximation of co-op data off p-shark, let me or any other agent know, and we can pull individual buildings for you off our database.

thats it propertyshark.com

Thanks Front_porch.

A friend is getting a co-op and wanted to compare prices in the building to get an idea of past sales. pshark is good enouhg to get a rough idea.
