You can tell a chav a mile off, and to be fair the boy in the picture doesn't look like a chav; i have a jacket with a hood which i wear in cold weather too - and very warm it is!

Keep the pictures coming, Cornwall is lovely. Any pictures of Fowey then?

Apologies turkishann...I was just playing off the observation I made that the church looked vaguely Caribbean. I didn't mean to insult your son by any means.

You wanting photographs of Fowey, I think I can do that for you, it's 17 miles up the south coast from here, Cadgwith is just a few miles away from me, I'm from very close to the Helford River in Cornwall.

My business is http://www.SkyHighPhotographs.co.uk low altitude ground based elevated aerial photography, got a load of gorgeous photographs of Fowey just last summer and plenty more of Polperro just a few more miles up the coast, another stunning little harbour town, village.

Got literally thousands of photographs of Cornwall UK here.

I'll post them up in a little while on a new thread.

Mebyon Kernow!!

Polperro is gorgeous. I loved the museum there - the whole village, even the vicar were involved with smuggling in the 19th century. I'll look forward to seeing the pictures.

???

Like trying to read some government document :D well, there's a reason for that. :)

My apologies I do tend to write with a degree of verbosity.

Ok, in plain english with no gobbledegook, here you go.

Stick a digital camera on top of a very tall pole, shove it up in the air 50' high, voila, low altitude blah blah blah.

The Canon camera sits on top of a full remotely controlled pan and tilt head unit allowing the camera to turn from left to right and vice versa and up and down too. Camera is attached to a laptop on the ground which is essentially my viewfinder, via an 80' long usb lead.

From the laptop, I can control the zoom etc too - see the image I'm after, click the release button, and the photograph is taken, stored on the laptop.

Afterwards, editing takes place if it requires it.

Works a treat for close up aerial surveys of stone circles etc or ancient bronze age villages such as Carn Euny.

You can see further images on my website, which needs updating: http://www.SkyHighPhotographs.co.uk

Hope that wasn't too long winded.

Cheers!

Mark
