Washington Old Hall - Washington - County Durham - England

The Hall is ancestrol home of George Washington's family -
The Washington family had star and stripes as their
coat of arms, and eagles are also prominant on the
restored hall.

9/11 Memorial - Grosvenor Square - London. :)

The US Military Cemetry at Madingley near Cambridge, has the largest
number of US Graves in England - it's shown in the first set of pics.

The Acre of Land given to the US people in commemoration of Kennedy
is at Runnymede in Surrey - where the Magna Carta was signed - and
the other US Memorial at Runnymede is the American Bar Associations
memorial recognising the freedoms and rights enshrined within the Magna
Carta and it's influence on US Law.

President Jimmy Carter visited the Hall back in 1976
to mark 200 years of American Independence.

Andrew Carnegie

Born in Dunfermline, Scotland - 18 February 1835

Having achieved great success in business in the United States
of America he devoted his fortune to the good of mankind.

This monument is erected by his fellow citizens in greatful
appreciation of the many gifts to his native city
AD 1914

Carnegie gave generously to causes in America, Britain
and beyond. There is even a Carnegie Hall in his home
town, although it's not quite as big as the one in NY. :)
