Queens Center is adjacent to the Woodhaven Boulevard station.

The station is served daily by the "R" train, and weekdays only by the "V" train.

You can board the R or V in Manhattan.

Other routes, which require a transfer, are the "7", "E", and "F" trains from Manhattan to the 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue Station in Queens , and then a transfer to an eastbound R or V.

The city as a whole is safe. As for your specific question yes it is a very safe area and mostly teenagers during the afternoon are there especially during the week. Aside from that you have a wide selection of ages that frequent that mall.
