Hey,

I am organising a party in New York for around 30 guests and want to give them all a little welcome to New York/USA bag with maps, subway pass etc. I want to include some fun things too so get thinking!!

What things would you guys suggest I include. I am looking at spending around $25 per bag. But am open to including things which are free like good travel guides and maps.

So please flood me with your suggestions. I would really appreciate if you could also tell me where I can get the item from and its likley cost, e.g:

Map, Vendor on 5th Avenue, $10

Sorry FH, it is hard to say since most of the things you were calling out are all you really need in NYC....

Besides the obvious (winter clothing, umbrella for rainy day, etc.)

There is not much more you can get for little $$ that you can fit in for less than $25 besides possibly a slice of pizza (coupon or something) or some other treats (chocolate, a bagel, etc...)

GL!

a miniature Eiffel Tower :)

or - more usefully - a set of NYC postcards - you can find them in any t-shirt shop for $5 - $10
