People of new york - help!

Hya every1!

Myself and my boyfriend are thinking of visiting New York in December 08. Only problem is I am only 20, he will be 22. What is the deal with bars etc. . I no the legal drinking age is 21 but would i be able to go into the bars, club etc at 20 as long as i dont drink.

A reply would be great as we really want to book and this is the only thing holding us back.

I take my kids into places that qualify as bars with food all the time, but don't expect to actually sit at the bar if you're underage.

Im aware i wont be able to sit at the bar and drink, or drink anywhere in the country!

but what i need to know is if u can go into clubs etc?
