Summer fun

I feel a bit out of touch since I moved down to Florida, but I'll be up in a month to visit friends and family. I'm bringing a couple friends with me so I'd like to know what events are going on this summer. (About the end of July through August.)

There are a few posts/threads that include summer info., being that it is summer currently, but to get you started, beaches (http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_things_to_do/facilities/af_beaches.html) are always a fun place to go during the summer.

Alright.. I did a little more research for summer events in NYC because, well, I'm interested now as well. :p
