What's up with the web cams....they ALL seem to be down- and for a while now? :confused:

Take another look- cam 1 -(the last one to go off) july 3 time stamp 00:54,32-night time (even in daylight)
Cam 2 also july 3rd- 12:49 am
cam 3- march 14th-11:42am hasn't worked for a while?

Oohhh...I thought you meant like you were seeing a black screen coming up instead of a picture at all.

I just checked them (again) and I'm now getting what you just posted.

EarthCam.com has a few decent NYC-cams tho, if you're just looking for a digital view.

^^^ I second that. I'm a huge fan of EarthCam, when looking at Times Square or any other place around the world.

Not looking for a digital view...
Cam 1 shows my part of the hood, + I can see what the traffic is like on my block on 9th before I head out myself.
It also shows a lot of the new construction going on in
the kitchen.
(I also use it, by standing on the corner, to let my out of state friends see me now and again.)

Ya...I guess that would be a good reason for someone to want it working. :p

Someone even moved it over slightly to the left, and now I have a perfect view of my building!:D
