At the moment, I am sitting in my hotel room in Omaha, until about 4 am tomorrow when I head to the airport to board a plane to New York for the second time.

I'll post more info. later as I am currently typing this on my iTouch.

Here is a just taste of what I will be experiencing for the next week:

This trip is going to focus mainly on Manhattan with 1-2 of Brooklyn and Queens. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about 'em! :D

I'll be in the city at around ~ 12:00 p.m. tomorrow, and will immediatley start. I'll drop my things off where I'm staying and buy my MetroCard. ;)

I'll be seeing four Broadway shows (Legally Blonde, Gypsy, Rent, and Hairspray), mainly because I'm a theater "junky" and can't get enough of it!

Along with everything the week will be filled with, I'm going to be meeting some forum members I've wanted to meet for a very long time. So I'm sure I'll be very knowledgable on many, MANY different things when I return home on July 24th.

I'm going to be staying at a place with a computer, unlike last time, so I'll be able to update daily what I've been doing and what I'm going to be doing. Including pictures!

I'm actually sitting in the SoHo Apple Store at the moment, messaging people and just checkin' up.

I've already gotten lost in 2 boroughs, the subway and was nearly hit by a cab this morning (his fault). Soooo...it's going pretty well. :p

Last night I was very lucky to get to go with BrooklynRider to his company private cruise on the Hudson River. We passed all 4 waterfalls and got EXCELLENT views of the West Side and Lower Manhattan.

In a little while I'm going to be meeting someone from the forum and then from then on ... no idea. I'm planning on staying downtown for the most part today, so if anyone lives down here and has time ... message me! :D

Hope the heat did not stress you too much out here! We had a few sticky drippy days the past week or so!

Good to hear someone coming over and having a good time. You forget what you are in sometimes when you are neck deep and wading back and forth for so long. It takes a fresh perspective, or a prolonged absence, to make you realize the things you miss.....

It's definitely a different vibe - one that I'm not very fond of. :p

The heat wasn't horrible. However, by Wednesday evenings downpour, I was happy. It really cooled the city off and made my last day much more enjoyable.

Throughout the day (off and on), I'll start uploading pictures and get them up.

Deja Vu!

The same internet problem that happened when I tried to post pictures the last time ... is happening again!!

I was without internet for hours this afternoon and hours tonight while, both times, trying to upload pictures.

It'd make more sense at this point to just go to a coffee shop here (free wi-fi) with my new Mac and upload them that way.
