Anybody else awaiting this? It's a dark New York City crime drama. Opens October 24 at local theaters.
It's original release date was way back in 2002 with Wahlberg and Jackman starring, but was delayed primarily because of 9/11. Then, it was finally set for release on March 14 with Norton and Farrell starring but New Line delayed it again.
Now, it's set to release in October, which I think is better for the film as it looks to have major Oscar potential. I'm a tad concerned about the writing, but the people behind it have been working on it for a long time and were given rare access inside the NYPD.
I have a soft spot not only for crime dramas, but ones that have something to say. With a message of sorts behind it. Here's some additional information:

Logline: Ray Tierney is a New York police officer who is part of a multi-generational police family. Tierney investigates a troublesome case that involves his older brother and brother-in-law, compelling the family to choose sides between their blood and the New York Police Department.
