Stalker Special!! LOL

Post a picture of where you live, and if you live in NYC, post a pic of your neighbourhood.

Here is where i reside.
Near, Bury St Edmunds, UK.

One of our 3 local pubs. (small villiage remember!)

Storm over our villiage.

And our nearest town, Bury St Edmunds 6 miles away.

The gate to the ruined abbey.

brian.. I really like the look of your town. It seems very peaceful and quiet.

Or do I have the wrong idea entirely? :p

Ben, this is the area I live but, it was believe it or not, a very heavily industrialised area, with alot of heavy steel industy, and both coal and clay pits. Within a couple of minutes walk from the spot where I took the photograph, the chains and anchors for the Titanic were made.

Now, as with a lot of other areas, we have lost all of the steel industry and most of the heavy manufacturing, so we have to rely on light manufacturing, technology, and service industries.

But it has made the area a lot cleaner, and as you say, quieter.

Last week I made a trip to downtown Des Moines to take some pictures of the both the "nightlife", buildings, and Capital Building.

I'll post some of them (because there are a lot!) sometime either tonight or tomorrow. :)

..just thought I'd add that I do not live in downtown DM but live in one of the most residential areas of Ankeny, IA, just ~ 20 minutes from downtown.
