No doubt this is spelled out somewhere, but I can't find it.

I'm feeling the need to explore the IGNORE A MEMBER feature.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What does it do and how does it do it?

And how is it different from just not reading a person's post?

I don't know. Never used it.

It just puts up a little note in place of a persons post, that the post can't be seen because they are on your ignore list.

I'm still waiting ...

But even so, the air is much fresher already :D

Hmmm, I just checked into a thread and style-wise I must say I'm a bit disappoointed ...

This message is hidden because ...

I was hoping for something more theatrical.

Fireworks? Chinese drummers?

But all in all the "hidden" message is far better than what would otherwise be visible  .

Less is more. ;)

Two things, it hides it (with a tab to let you see it if you want... which really should not be there. It is like leaving a rancid cookie jar half open.....) AND it blocks all PM's from that person.

I have a few up, and I have taken some down in the past as well. It's handy.

Why do you need this?

You've been married, and should've grown a filter by now.

Nah, I am still easily jangled.

Wife seems confused though. She read in the manual that, after marriage, she would be right on everything and that I would do most menial tasks with a smile and a thank you hon! ;)
