I would suggest that we have a WNY social meeting Friday at about 1700 as the weather is looking better than it is now.

We can take some photos, play some Badminton in Madison Square Park, or if you have the key, Gramercy.

Otherwise we can take some photos.

You need not be a member of my social club but you are welcome to join it.

Let me know if you want to come. All are welcome.

Well, who could pass up on a chance to meet-up with the amazing Mr.Tenenbaum in person.

This Friday, at 5 pm I can do: would be nice to meet-up with some other wiredny members too. I will bring my camera and a few pence for a spot of tea.

See you Friday.

cheers,
Paul

Not much response for this this event.

Lets try again next week, perhaps Stern & BEN - and others - will be able to come.

Cheers,
Paul

I think Ben will be busy for a while, filling his head with knowledge and charming the ladies in Iowa ;)

9AM to 2AM? That's 17 hours. Is it even legal to work that many hours straight?

Two different jobs. I work for a developer in the morning and a restaurant at night. I only do the two jobs thing once a week so its alright.

Damn. But it is only for one day a week, right?

Anyway, I'll never complain about my 8-5 hours from now on.

By the way, is the developer anyone we know?

Yes. I don't want to put out their name though. WNY comes at the top of google searches too frequently. They have put up some quality new projects in Brooklyn though, they're no McSam.

Okay so since Fridays are out (because of Stern's schedule), how about Saturdays or Sundays?

By the way, isn't it weird to see a bunch of grown men playing badminton?

Since Mr. T is setting the agenda here - I guess we will have to wait for his word on the time/place to meet-up.

See you soon.
Paul

p.s. I think he just kidding about the badminton; his main "enthusiasm" - from what I can tell - is cafe & conversation.

Would it be ok to show up with some Beatles music and my boom-box?

Saturday it is.

No Beatles thanks. Dont tell the English this, but the Beatles just suck. When bands like Steely Dan shart, music like that of the Beatles comes out.

Nuff said about that.

Just about any time/place O.K. by me: if that is, the time is after 3pm and and no later than 6pm.

Any chance of 195B showing up as well?

I wouldn't mind meeting up, especially if some construction sites are on the agenda.

...........especially if some construction sites are on the agenda.

Sure, there a few projects going up in that area: bring your camera. Send a PM to me and/or Tenenbaum if you need any more specifics on where exactly we are meeting.

See you Saturday.

My sister came to town unexpectedly, so I won't be able to make it this afternoon. Have fun.

Paul,
Thanks for asking. There was a chance of me showing up, but it got too complicated. The plan was to visit with my mom in NJ, then take the train into the city. Maybe next time.

I would be ALL up for meeting a whole bunch of people (as a group or individually) this summer sometime. I've met 4 people from this forum and would love to get to know more!

Who's up for this summer when I'm back in the big city? :)
