Folks,

All of us that believe in increasing investment in high-speed and intercity rail projects, public transportation and subways should go to Change.GOV (http://change.gov) site, register on the site and vote in support of questions for the Obama team dealing with these issues. Now that they are discussing the huge stimulus package it is a good time to write to all your local and federal representatives to make sure they press the Obama administration to include more money for the public transit projects that will benefit New York City.

I corrected the URL. Thanks!

The following question about public transit that has already gotten over 6450 votes:

"Will transit and intercity rail projects be a major component of the infrastructure stimulus package, rather than focusing on highway projects?"

BTW, where on the site is the vote? Couldn't find it just now...

Now they opened what's called "Citizen's Briefing Book"
The most popular questions will end up on Obama's desk. This is 2nd most popular in the "Economy" thread:
