I thought you might be interested in seeing some picture of London at night taken from a helicopter ...

Excellent pictures. Jason Hawkes, the guy who took them did another batch which I think are even more amazing. The picture of the 02 Arena, formerly the Millennium Dome (where Michael Jackson has just sold a ridiculous 1mn tickets in a few hours) is exceptionally good - modern and cutting edge.

Magnificent pictures, magnificent city.
The Christmas lights on Regents Street look spectacular...clearly they put to shame the suspended star at 57th/5th in NYC.

Did you say a million tickets for Michael Jackson?! That has to be some kind of record.

Wonderful photographs of a beautiful city.

I have never been to London, and my plan was to purchase tickets to the Michael Jackson concert (the August 28 concert, the day before his 51st birthday) and spend a week about the city. The concert would have acted as a highlight.

Of course, they sold out. I am distraught!

This is the world's fastest selling tour, with a music idol of mine--Michael Jackson--in an incredible city I have never seen in person. I do not have tickets. Damn.

This an amazing photograph... the people are in sharp focus and lights don't cast shadows or overwhelm. The street and sidewalks are so clean it looks like a model. This Hawkes guy needs to fly over New York with his camera.

Great photo's:cool:

Funny thing I live in England and have only been to London once :( and that was when I was eleven years old.

And yet every time we holiday abroad we tour and see as much as possible in the few weeks we're there:confused:
