Looking for the perfect way to roll up your sleeves and volunteer this Earth Day? TogetherGreen can help you take hands-on, local conservation action! On behalf of Audubon and TogetherGreen, I wanted to inform you about the thousands of opportunities that are available in selected cities across the country that will host TogetherGreen Volunteer Days (http://www.togethergreen.org/volunteer/VolunteerEvents.aspx) in celebration for Earth Day 2009 and your area is a part of the initiative!

The TogetherGreen Volunteer Days (http://www.togethergreen.org/volunteer/VolunteerEvents.aspx) aim to launch a continuing cycle of positive environmental impact and can help make a big difference in your community. Activities include habitat and trail restoration, river and lake clean-ups, invasive species removal, nest-box building, wildlife and plant surveys, and more! This series of Volunteer days, part of 240 taking place annually, occurs during the weekends of April 18, April 25th and May 2nd.

These dates are approaching fast so help TogetherGreen continue the momentum of volunteer activity that kicked off in September 2008 by showing your support. Volunteer Days are the centerpiece of the TogetherGreen conservation alliance of Audubon with support from Toyota and would not be possible without the aid from local communities such as yours.
