It only undermines the integrity of the entire site!

Let's start with this one....

Send James Bond, Ill kick his assWhere is the "intelligent dialogue" to be found in a multi repeated statement like that?

Hey, I object to that! I found and posted that dead horse GIF here on WNY first! Ages ago. I mean, give some credit where its due, Man.

Sorry GT-That gif is in the public domain- you did not make it,
I myself have been using it for years...
unlike the obnoxious comments about certian cities you have been flooding this site
with, only that, can you take full credit for!
But I'll use one I made myself- using your avatar in a James bond suit,
holding wet noodles, from now on;)

No disrespect to poster Tenenbaum if and when he returns from banishment, but this has been cracking me up for over a week.

It seems like wired NY has been eroding into wired LONDON lately-
what is up with all the London/UK pics and links (repeated over and over again), in thread after NY thread,
derailing most conversations- no matter where you look?
It almost makes one wish that GT was back to nip it in the bud

to nip it in the bud

It should be noted that the phrase "nip it in the bud" was first used in 1607, by the English dramatists Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher:

"Yet I can frowne and nip a passion Euen in the bud."

I have removed my posts from these threads and will stick to threads regarding London and the UK from now on. :)

It's not really a problem devoting my energies to posting more on other forums and less on this one.

I nearly choked on my cookie reading Fab's last post.

Codex, you do a nice job posting info about London and the UK. It's nice seeing what's happening on the other side of the pond. It gives something to compare to and shows us where we are falling behind.

Hey folks,

I have deleted off-topic posts from the following thread:

150 Greenwich Street - WTC Tower #4 - by Fumihiko Maki

We can't let the pile-on toward other forum members run for pages. We have new members working at the site posting some good stuff. Let's keep that discussion focused. Annoying posts can be flagged and moderators will respond.

Thanks-

BR

The 'deadhorse' animation is commonly used on many forums, so I have no problem with it, as long as if it does not have words and/or content that is offensive, cruel, vulgar, inappropriate and sexual. That is at least my opinion, :P...

So pony spanking is right out?

Not literally in real life, but if it is online and it is made (via animation) by someone who is not related to this forum and it is to resemble the emoticon, then yeah, at least if no real-life animal is harmed...
