Ed,

I am just starting my own little rambling website and I would like to include you as one of the links.

The things is, you have no icon, logo or other signature for this site. With all the artists here, you think you could have a contest to get an official logo for the site?

Let me know what you think, but until then, let me know what you think on PM about www.chiefantagonist.com and what I can do with it (it is still less than born!, be kind!)

Jasonik is our brilliant designer. Maybe we can reach out to him.

Ninja- I looked at the linked wensite. I don't get it. What am I supposed to be seeing? Joomla?

This is something I worked up a few years ago but wasn't satisfied with -- now even less so.

I've some other ideas, and welcome suggestions.

Nothing much, yet. I am trying to build a blogging site with a bunch of other little things I have wanted to o online (movie/game reviews, general complaints, photo albums).

Any suggestions on layout, what is missing, what is too much, even at this stage, would be welcomed.

Maybe the part "wired" to be something that resembles telephone, internet, electrical or some other wire....

That reminds me of me at Hebrew school about ten years ago. Shocking.

^ All that one needs is slightly more legible lettering.

Nice ^

That's an attention grabber and could be a real magnet.

Easier to read, but the lightning looks less electric and more spaghetti-ish.

The previous one is much better. Visually more striking and clear.

Original is better, except red is wrong for lightning. Blue or violet glow.

Get rid of the loop.

These are all fine. But is the logo search still on? Can we submit a few more ideas?

If those thongs could be arranged to read WNY it could be a keeper.

That would be great!

Still illegible, but with circuit board fill and glowing plasma skyline.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/Jasonik/wnyskylogo215.jpg

The next iteration will try to combine improved plasma-lightning with a circuit board skyline and (legible) digital-style font.

Creative, but too complicated JK......

Suggestion would be to take a night time panoramic of the city (I have a few that would look good at a reduced scale) and find a way todo that shadowed electric blue lettering on the bottom...

Let me know if you want to see any of the pix I have from Hoboken (they are not professional, but what can you do w/o a tripod? ;) )

Understanding that it's a work in progress I like where this is going with the layering.

I'm still crazy for the black skyline with the deep blue sky above that you showed before.
