Hi,,,, I am visiting NY in Sept and have been looking at hotels on a budget (100 per night) I have been looking at the hotel 91 in china town and the union square inn in lower manhattan. I'm unsure which of these areas is closer to Times square and other main parts. I would appreciate any views/opinions/advice on these hotels or any suggestions about other hotels. Thanks :D

It looks like Hotel 91 (91 East Broadway) is butt up against the Manhattan Bridge, so that could be REALLY Noisy. All through the night. It's also not too close to subway stations.

The Union Square Inn (209 E 14th) is much closer to both Times Square and subway stations. Also at the edge of the East Village and near Greenwich Village. Accessible to a lot.
