Best place to celebrate New Year's Eve

If you are going to be in New York on New Year's Eve, where are you going to celebrate?

I am listing some choices, add your own.

1. Times Square ball drop (Last year you had to be there by 5 pm to see the ball drop at 12)

2. Rainbow Room on 65th floor of GE Building. It's not on MY list of choices at $1,300 for two.

3. Rainbow Grill, same floor as Rainbow Room, magnificent view of Empire State Building and Times Square, $350 a person.

4. Russian Tea Room. $300 for a four course menu with wines and champagne, or $150 buffet dinner

5. Foley's Fish House at Renaissance New York Hotel (2 Times Square) directly overlooking Times Square: $399 a person

6. Guastavino's at $125/person

7. At home
