Most of the trees seem young and/or stunted. *Healthy mature trees make all the difference IMHO.

I lived here^^^, on-again, off-again, during the 1960s and the first half of the 1970s, with my elder relatives.

The "healthy and mature trees" (as Jasonik put it) are gone, I see. So is most of the grass. The building facade, however, is practically unchanged.

(I see that the future tenant put an airconditioner in the kitchen.:D)

Yes! The Bronx Flatiron is where Tremont Ave. cuts across the Concourse, a few blocks north of my former building.
