Anybody know which apartment building has the most number of units? I'm thinking of something that is a single building, or at least connected, so the Corinthian or Silver Towers would count, but Coop City and Stuy Town wouldn't.

According this site, the Corinthian has 840 units.

33-33 Broadway, located on 135th street. Not sure, but it looks to me like the largest single residential apartment building in NYC. Do a google map check, it takes up a space as large as one city block.

Good calls on London Terrace and 3333 Broadway. According to Wikipedia, the London Terrace complex has 1,700 units, and 3333 Broadway has 1,200 units. Normandie Court is another big complex, with 1,477 units.

Yes, but London T is not one building, if you look at the site from google maps, you will see two distinct and separate buildings: one running the length of 23rd street and the other 24th street. Looking at freestand (single building structures) the Churchill also comes to mind. http://streeteasy.com/nyc/building/the-churchill

Silverstein claimed the first phase of River Place was the largest apartment building in NYC. It has around 920 or so apartments. Beekman Tower at least appears to have a larger floor area despite having around 900 units. The second phase of the Atelier will have more than 1,000 units.

MiMa, Mercedes House, BIG's West 57th Street project, and the new Rockrose Tower on Hunter Street wll all have more than 800 units.
