Actor Paul Walker died in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. (http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/30/paul-walker-dead-dies-car-accident-fatal-fire-crash/), on Saturday (Nov. 30), his rep has confirmed (http://www.justjared.com/2013/11/30/paul-walkers-rep-confirms-death-in-car-accident/). He was 40 years old.
Walker (http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/paul-walker-dies-crash-report-article-1.1533786) was best known for his roles in the "Fast And The Furious" (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0908094/) movies.
TMZ reports that Walker was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle (http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/30/paul-walker-dead-dies-car-accident-fatal-fire-crash/). It then slammed into either a post or a tree and then burst into flames and exploded.
It is not yet known what caused the driver to lose control, but the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/paul-walker-dies-car-accident-660798) in the 28300 clock of Rye Canyon Loop.
Walker's other credits include “Varsity Blues,” "Into the Blue," “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Takers.” He is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

He and his friend were on a test run for a charity that Paul was raising money for, and his friend was driving. Supposedly they hit a pole, then the tree, then the car exploded. People from a nearby business used all their extinguishers to try to put out the flames. I'd like to think that both men were at least unconscious as soon as they hit the pole. What a horrific way to go, and I can't imagine his daughter or his parents getting that news. I already saw yesterday the inevitable James Dean comparison. The media can't help themselves.

I thought he was a good actor but wanted him to break out of the F&F rut, because I thought they were churning them out like Big Macs. I can watch two or three tops but they're pretty much the same with different plots. He was working on #7 when the accident happened. He had finished another movie called 'Hours' which is due out soon.

No evidence of a massive fluid leak before crash:

And none so far on drag racing speculation:

Looks like simply excessive speed and loss of control. At least they didn't take out any innocent bystanders or other drivers.

For some reason they did an autopsy on Walker, but if my loved one wasn't the driver I wouldn't want that. It's obvious he died as a result of his injuries.
